Thank you to those who braved the torrential downpour to attend this year’s ANZAC ceremony. It was a successful and moving event attended by members of the Australian and New Zealand community in Prague as well as VIP guests from the New Zealand, Australian and Turkish Embassies as well as senior representatives of the Czech Armed Forces and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Thank you also to the Australian Consulate, the Czech Army and the cemetery management for making this ceremony a fitting tribute to the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
